On July 31, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Chatree Maneekosol, President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, assigned Assistant Professor Surasak Nummeesri, Vice President; Ms. Sunee Phanunta, Director of the Office of the President; Ms. Thanyawan Sridechakul, Acting Director of the Student Development Division; and Mr. Khanueng Kabkanta, Director of the Building and Grounds Division, to join the royal tree maintenance activity.

The activity included soil loosening, fertilizing, weeding, pest control, pruning, and watering of the trees planted by His Majesty the King. It was held as part of the Royal Tree Maintenance Project in celebration of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 73rd birthday anniversary on July 28, 2025. The event was organized by the Forest Resource Management Office No. 1 (Chiang Mai), with participation from related officials and agencies.

The activity took place at the royal plantation site in front of the Thipangkorn Rasamichote Auditorium at the Mae Rim Campus of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province.

This initiative was held to honor and express loyalty to His Majesty the King. It also aims to continue, preserve, and build upon the royal aspirations regarding forest conservation and rehabilitation, encouraging the public, government agencies, private sector, and all sectors to recognize the importance of tree care and sustainable environmental stewardship. The project serves as a model of collective effort in preserving natural resources for future generations.
